NASCAR Jack Roush was hurt Tuesday evening in a private plane accident at an airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, according to organizer of an air show at the airport.
At the Video showed Roush and another passenger, recognized by the Experimental Aircraft Association as Brenda Strickland of Plymouth, Michigan, walking away from the crash, which occurred at 6:15 p.m. (7:15 p.m. ET).
The Beechcraft Premier jet, register to Roush Fenway Racing LLC, was landing at Wittman area Airport in Oshkosh.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department established the identities, the EAA said in a statement Tuesday night.
Both were transported to local hospitals, with the bloodied Roush in serious but stable condition and Strickland having non-life threatening injuries, according to the EAA. The NTSB (National Transportation Board) is leading the investigation into the accident.
