Hashish Seized at Kenyan airport

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

A driver was arrested at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while trying to traffic a haul of hashish to the United kingdom.

The drug had been dried up into 88 slaps and disguised as vegetables for export in 20 cartons when police stumbled upon them on Monday evening.

Police chief Philip Tuimur told that "They had invited officials from the Government Chemist and others from the weights and measures to support them in the inquiry as detectives prepared to arraign the suspect in court. He said they had not established the street price of the drugs seized."
